Rules of Play for Hamilton/Burlington SPCA Fall Lottery & 50/50 Raffle 2025  

1. Tickets for the Fall Lottery and 50/50 Raffle in support of the HBSPCA are available for purchase  on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 am EST until Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 2:00  pm EST, or until the maximum number of tickets (16,667) are sold.  

2. There are 16,667 tickets available. Tickets are 1 for $15, 3 for $40, 5 for $60, 10 for $100 and 30  for $250 (maximum 100 bundles). 50/50 Raffle tickets will only be available for purchase with  a lottery ticket package. 50/50 Raffle tickets are 5 for $10, 40 for $20, 200 for $50, 300 for $75  and 1000 for $99. Regular lottery tickets and 50/50 Raffle tickets can be sold in a bundle at the same value. Bundles will be $50 for 3 lottery tickets and 5 50/50 tickets, $80 for 5 lottery  tickets and 40 50/50 tickets, $150 for 10 lottery tickets and 200 50/50 tickets, and $325 for 30  lottery tickets and 300 50/50 tickets.  

3. Tickets will only be sold to people 18 or older and residents of Ontario.  4. Tickets are available online at – hbspcalottery.ca/2025  

5. Employees and Board Members of the HBSPCA and any individuals residing at the same address  as those mentioned are not eligible to purchase tickets for the Fall Lottery & 50/50 Raffle 2025.  Employees of BUMP Raffle, Fiver, and 20eight Digital are also not eligible.  

6. Prizes: There are $50,000 in prizes and a 50/50 raffle to be won. A random Number Generation  (RNG) system will select the winning tickets from all raffle tickets (numbers) sold for the Fall  Lottery. Draws will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. EST. The deadline to purchase tickets is 1 p.m. on  the draw dates.  

7. Draw Schedule  

  • The Early-Bird Draw is $2500 cash. All qualifying tickets for the 1st Early-Bird Draw  must be purchased by 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. 
  • The Early-Bird Draw will occur at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the HBSPCA  Admin office, McMaster Innovation Park 175 Longwood Rd S Suite 400, Hamilton, ON  L8P 0A1. 
  • Weekly Draws: there will be six (6) weekly draws. All tickets for weekly draws must be  purchased at 1:00pm on the draw days and draws will occur at 2:00pm on the draw  days at the HBSPCA Admin office, McMaster Innovation Park 175 Longwood Rd S Suite  400, Hamilton, ON L8P 0A1. 
    • The 1st Weekly Draw is a choice of Holiday experiences or $10,000 cash on  Wednesday, October 15, 2025. 
    • There will be four (4) weekly draws of $2,500 (October 22,29, November 12, 19)  o There will be one (1) weekly draw of $7,500 (November 5, 2025) 
    • Grand Prize Draw: $20,000 prize. Tickets must be purchased by 1:00pm Wednesday,  November 26, 2025. The draw will occur at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at  the HBSPCA Admin office, McMaster Innovation Park 175 Longwood Rd S Suite 400,  Hamilton, ON L8P 0A1.
    • 50/50 Cash Jackpot: Tickets must be purchased by 1:00pm Wednesday, November 26,  2025. The draw will occur at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the HBSPCA  Admin office, McMaster Innovation Park 175 Longwood Rd S Suite 400, Hamilton, ON  L8P 0A1.  

7. Lottery purchasers will receive an electronic receipt with their registered lottery numbers  generated from a Random Selection System. Specific numbers cannot be given.  

8. All lottery purchasers are required to provide their full name, mailing address, email, and phone  number for each ticket bought. Purchasers will be added to the HBSPCA donor database and the  subscription list for the HBSPCA e-newsletter.  

9. Lottery ticket receipts/confirmation emails are not registered charitable tax receipts for income  tax purposes and cannot be claimed as charitable donations.  

10. Winning tickets will be eliminated from the raffle with the exception of the Early Bird winning  ticket .  

11. The winner’s first name, last initial, and winning ticket number will be announced on  hbspcalottery.ca/2025. An HBSPCA staff member will notify all winners by phone.  

12. Winners agree to the use of their first name and last initial and possibly a photo for  announcement/publicity purposes by the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.  

13. Winners will be mailed a cheque for their prize to the address used at the time of purchase.  Winners may claim their prize in person, by appointment only at the HBSPCA Admin office,  McMaster Innovation Park 175 Longwood Rd S Suite 400, Hamilton, ON L8P 0A1. The Grand  Prize winner ($20,000) must receive their cheque in person on an agreed date at the HBSPCA  Admin office, McMaster Innovation Park 175 Longwood Rd S Suite 400, Hamilton, ON L8P 0A1 

14. If receiving their prize in person, winners must show a picture I.D and proof of the winning ticket  via email on mobile or a printed copy. Prizes will not be given and held until the above mentioned is provided.  

15. Substitutions are not permitted; prizes are awarded as promoted. Any unclaimed prizes by May  27, 2026 (6 months after the final draw) will be donated to Humane Canada (Registered Charity  # BN 118830884 RR0001) so the funds can benefit animal welfare with the approval of the  AGCO.

PRIVACY  

The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA respects your privacy and will never sell, trade, or loan your information  to any other organization. We will use your information for statistical and administrative purposes and  to keep our supporters informed of the activities/services provided by the HBSPCA. 

LIABILITY  

The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA is responsible for the conduct and management of the lottery, including  prizes until they have been awarded.
